Colby Haunted House

Every October the doors of the Colby Haunted House open for a new season of Halloween thrills!

Built and operated by local volunteers, our haunted house has become an annual tradition for Colby and nearby communities.

Inside you'll navigate creepy passageways with live actors, animatronics, sudden scares, our infamous vortex tunnel, and a few things we'd rather not reveal ahead of time!

Returning visitors can expect a totally new experience every year. Our crew spend months developing a new theme and rebuilding the experience with different scenes, characters, and scares. So even if you've made it through before, you won't know what you're walking into this time.

Not ready for the full scare?

Our lights-on matinee gives younger haunt enthusiasts a chance to explore the haunted house without the usual frights. Guests can walk through during the day with the lights on and no actors will jump out to scare them during the matinee.

Matinee dates vary from year to year, so please contact us to find out whether one will be offered this season.

More than just a haunted house

We love finding fun ways to bring our community together and give back!

Each year, Glow on the Green: Haunted Fairway Edition takes over Meadow Lake Golf Course for an unforgettable 18-hole Night Golf Tournament. Teams play the front nine in the daylight, break for supper, light up their carts, and finish the back nine under the glow!

Funds raised help support improvements to the Colby Haunted House, the downtown Christmas lights at the park, scholarships for local high school seniors who volunteer with the Haunted House, and other community organization each year.
